  • Report of Recommended Findings for Region 8

    In 2022-2023 FPAC worked with The Louisiana Department of Health to provide technical assistance for an emerging food policy group in Region 8. FPAC, alongside Louisiana Central, helped to assess food policy needs and opportunities within the region and provide recommendations for a robust food system in the area.

  • New Orleans' State of Urban Agriculture

    This study focuses on understanding how growers attempt to access land and city services, what barriers/opportunities they encounter, and what sources of support have been most helpful. This research project was a collaborative effort between SPROUT, FPAC, and GNOGA.

  • NOLA FPAC Reauthorization

    In Summer 2023, Resolution 23-226, authored by Council President Moreno reauthorized FPAC as advisory body to the City Council on matters and food and agriculture.

  • Member Survey

    In 2022, FPAC had an independent evaluation of our coalition conducted in order to learn how we can serve the policy and collaboration needs of the New Orleans food system, our partners, and the community.

  • Covid-19 Food System Survey

    In 2020, FPAC evaluated the impact of COVID-19 on the New Orleans food system and released a set of recommendations and findings.

  • Small Box Retail Diversity Study

    In 2019, the New Orleans City Council commissioned a study of small-box retailers and their impacts on the community.

  • Healthy Corner Store Collaborative

    Since 2017, the Healthy Corner Store Collaborative (HCSC) has delivered 154,977 units of fresh fruits & vegetables to partner stores in New Orleans.
