Working Groups

Much of the core work of NOLA FPAC takes place in working groups with specific food area focuses. NOLA FPAC currently operates Food Access, Business Development, Food Production, and Seafood Working Groups.

Newsletter

The NOLA FPAC monthly newsletter includes policy alerts and calls to action, coalition updates and upcoming events, job openings, food advocacy resources, and other community updates.

Job Openings

New Orleans Food Policy Action Council (FPAC)  is committed to having a staff that represents the community we serve. We encourage applicants who can help us build a truly inclusive culture to apply. Committees

The programs of NOLA FPAC are guided by monthly committee meetings. Committees meet to discuss strategy, implementation, recommendations, and logistics in accordance with NOLA FPAC’s role as a policy advisory body.

Donate

NOLA FPAC is a 501(c)(3) organization. NOLA FPAC annually participates in Give NOLA Day and Giving Tuesday, however, donations year -round are greatly appreciated to continue current work.

Volunteer

There are many opportunities to volunteer with NOLA FPAC or with coalition partners (such as Volunteer for Veggies with SPROUT NOLA). NOLA FPAC accepts volunteers working toward service hours for graduation, greek life, and Master Gardener certification/renewals. Volunteer duties include event planning and assistance, research and administrative tasks.
