The Recirculating Farms Coalition and the Louisiana Chapter of the National Young Farmers Coalition, in cooperation with the USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) are hosting the  last workshop of this year for farmers interested in learning how to apply for FSA loan programs and services. The Farm Service Agency offers farm loan assistance to farmers who might not yet meet the qualifications to get financing from a traditional lender, but are ready to start or expand a farm.
Our FINAL class for the year is on Saturday, December 9th, 10:30 AM - 3:00pm at The ReFresh Project Room upstairs from the Broad Street Whole Foods: 300 N Broad Street, New Orleans, LA 70119.

The Saturday, December 9th event will offer several class sessions -  an in person question and answer session with FSA agency personnel, a session with SCORE-New Orleans on how to write a successful business plan to apply for FSA loans, new material on Farm Storage Facility Loans,  and an intensive review on all three loan programs discussed in the previous workshops: Farm Ownership Loans, Farm Operating Loans, and Emergency Farm Loans. Other information included will be generally how to get started searching for the right FSA programs and how to register with FSA to receive benefits and support.
Lunch, snacks and drinks provided!
